Abhijeet Srivastava is a blessing to the modern Indian Music Industry.

Radio Mirchi Music Awards - 2020 with Abhijeet and Ashish sir - when he won “Upcoming vocalist of the Year” for our song “Chashni”

Abhijeet Srivastava has been one of my long-time collaborators; I have had the opportunity to see him grow as an artist from his early days at The Media Tribe. He had come to The Media Tribe (Institute of Sound Engineering and Music Production) with his family almost seven years back, and as a young student, he did extremely well in the course.

One day, in the recording engineering class, while we were recording and auditioning for a few different microphones, Abhijeet went into the live room and started to sing.
I couldn’t believe what I was hearing! I thought a song was playing. He had a wonderful tone to his voice, sensitive to contemporary style yet rooted. I was so highly impressed that I ran to our mentor, Ashish Manchanda, and told him about Abhijeet. That evening, I compiled everything that Abhijeet had ever written and composed as a part of TMT Assignments and presented it to Ashish sir, and since then, he has been a part of this family. (Springboard Records)

Abhijeet has sensibilities ranging from classic Hindi Film Music to the very latest electronic pop and contemporary styles. He’s extremely quick, has one of the sharpest sets of ears I know and pursues excellence, always. His versatility is amazing, and it is truly breathtaking for me to see him come up with amazing music regularly.

This year, Abhijeet also won Indian Recording Arts Academy Awards 2023 for his record “Tu Saamne” with his TMT batchmate and producer Gibson George, as well as Best Music Composer with me for Jiya Kaanch Ka.

Abhijeet is all set to debut as a composer in the Hindi Film Industry with his upcoming song for a Dharma productions movie that features Vicky Kaushal.

Fungeet - his latest EP that comes out on 24th April, featuring the very talented Suvarna Tiwari and the versatile Aanchal Tyagi, is a great representation of Abhijeet’s musical and sonic sensibilities. The top lines in the EP are very rooted, while the arrangements and productions push the boundaries. They each have a very modern approach yet are minimalistic in their own way.

Abhijeet has composed all four songs and has worked with his close collaborator and staple lyricist, Shayra Apoorva - who has written the words for them all.

Fungeet is all set to release with Springboard Records x IndieA Records (Universal Music Entity), and I cannot wait for you all to hear it.

Let me tell you, this guy is just getting started.
